Fitness and Friendship Project Worker

Salary: £22,159 pro rata (£12.18 per hour)

Hours: 6 per week, scope to increase

To deliver Age UK Wiltshire Fitness & Friendship sessions to support the physical and mental wellbeing of older people.

Lead three regular Fitness & Friendship clubs (fortnightly) at community venues or within sheltered housing schemes.

Actively promote F&F clubs in local communities by networking and sharing information.

Independent Living: Direct Payment Adviser

Hours: 25 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team that promotes disabled and older people having choice, independence, and control over their lives. You will support direct payment recipients to lead independent lives through choosing their type of care, including successfully employing their own Personal Assistants providing them with information and advice in budgeting, employment rights, recruitment, payroll, processing DBS checks and how to be a good employer.

Independent Family Group Conference Coordinator (self-employed)

Salary: (Once trained) £519 fee per completed FGC, plus expenses (£539 for those with full Level 3 Accreditation)

Building Bridges Support Workers

Hours: 36.5 hours per week

We are looking for two Support Workers to join our team delivering key working support to participants. The role involves managing a case load of participants, providing practical & emotional support and advocating on their behalf as needed.

The Support Worker will carry out needs assessments, develop individualised engagement plans to address barriers and through both one-to-one support and a range of group development activities, increase participants’ confidence, self-esteem, skills and resilience to help them achieve their identified education and employment goals.
