The P.A.C.E Project has been developed by listening to young people, setting up a safe, non-judgemental, creative space.
P.A.C.E stands for Process, Acceptance, Creativity and Empathy. Shared making, autonomy to change responses and an environment to connect without feeling the need to perform or mask.
It's about creating "time to make the marks we want to make" (our artist Emma Kerr) and the group sharing time "to do things we don't HAVE to do, but want to" (The P.A.C.E group, July 2024).
What to expect: the creative activity lasts for 1hr. Young people can arrive early to settle into the space and are offered time after the activity to finish what they are working on, or simply to enjoy social time alongside art making.
To book: email Louise at [email protected]. You will be asked to complete a referral form prior to the workshop.
