We are looking for a friendly and engaging volunteer to support residents in a learning disability service near Marlborough with arts and crafts activities. The role involves bringing along different creative ideas and encouraging residents to get involved. Sessions can take place fortnightly or once a month, with flexibility around timings. We’re looking for someone who enjoys arts and crafts, is patient, and can create a warm, positive environment where residents feel supported and included.
As with all our volunteer roles, a DBS check will be required, and we will request two references. Volunteers will also need to complete our online or in‑person training before starting their role. Ongoing support will be available from both the volunteer team and a designated member of staff within the service.
Milestones Trust is a health and social care charity supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural needs. The Trust provides residential, nursing and supported living services to over 500 people living in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
