Get involved with The Peer Partnership
Who we are
The Peer Partnership are peer support specialists. We offer training, consultancy and service delivery to help organisations build or improve peer support programmes.
We believe peer support — when people with shared lived experience support one another — can transform care for long-term health conditions, mental health, or challenging life experiences.
What we do
-
Run workshops and training programmes to help peer support staff, volunteers, organisations and commissioners
-
Provide consultancy to design, launch or refine peer support services, including scoping, co-design, policies and documentation
-
Deliver peer support services in partnership with clinical or community organisations, including projects for Long COVID and Type 2 Diabetes
Why it matters
Peer support allows people to connect with someone who has been through a similar experience. That lived experience adds depth and authenticity to support, making it more meaningful.
By strengthening peer support in organisations, The Peer Partnership helps services be more effective, sustainable and user-centred.
