Come and meet the new support service for unpaid carers in Wiltshire.
The Carers Roadshow takes place on Thursday 17th October, in St John's Parish Centre, 2 Wingfield Road, Trowbridge, BA14 9EA, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
At the Carers Roadshow you will be able to hear about
- The support provided by Carers Together Wiltshire for unpaid Carers
- Carers Assessments and how to access this help
- Our dedicated Parent Carers and Young Adult Carer services
- The new Carers ID card provided by Carer Friendly Wiltshire
- Digital support groups and online resources
You will also be given the opportunity to share your thoughts, and needs, around the type of community events you’d like to see in your area for unpaid carers. Your feedback will help shape how we continue to provide a carer friendly community in Wiltshire, and we are keen to hear the voices of all kinds of unpaid carers, so please come along so your thoughts are heard.
On site parking is available at the St John's Parish Centre, it is wheelchair accessible and has disabled toilet facilities. The Parish Centre is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station and a bus stop is located around 10 minutes walk.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available at the event.
