DISTRICT LEAD VOLUNTEER Wiltshire West District Scouts Volunteer leadership opportunity |

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a District Lead Volunteer to provide leadership, direction and support across Wiltshire West District. You will work closely with Group Lead Volunteers and other District volunteers to ensure young people receive safe, high-quality Scouting and that adult volunteers feel valued, supported and inspired. WHAT YOU WILL DO · Provide leadership and vision for Scouting across the District · Support and line manage key adult volunteers · Build strong teams and positive working relationships · Help grow inclusive, accessible Scouting for all backgrounds · Work with County and local volunteers to strengthen Scouting · Champion excellent safety, safeguarding and volunteer support WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR You do not need prior Scouting experience. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, leadership potential and a commitment to helping volunteers and young people succeed. Experience in leadership, volunteering, community work or supporting teams would be helpful, but training and support will be provided. Core strengths: leadership, communication, teamwork, strategic thinking, organisation and a commitment to Scouting’s values. |
