We are seeking an experienced Fundraiser to support WRM’s ongoing projects, bursaries, and core operational needs. You will need experience of writing applications with a proven record of funding projects. Your work will help ensure that WRM engages with a diverse range of funders — from trusts, local authorities and foundations to local businesses and community partners — and that we make the most of every opportunity to secure sustainable support.
The role is primarily home‑based, with some flexibility required for meetings, events, and occasional visits to WRM’s premises. You will work closely with the Creative Director and be part of a small, dedicated team committed to widening access to music across Wiltshire.
Essential reqirements:
● Experience of successful grant and trust fundraising. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. ● Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. ● Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Workspace, and basic database management. ● Ability to work collaboratively with the Creative Director and wider team. ● Commitment to WRM’s aims, values, and charitable objectives. ● Access to own vehicle for travel within Wiltshire.
The current rate of pay is £16 per hour. Personal tax and NI is the responsibility of the role holder. Approved travel expenses will be reimbursed at 45p per mile.
