The Fundraising Network Coordinator takes the lead on supporting a specific stream of volunteers within fundraising to assist enhancing the support available to fundraising volunteers

What does the role involve?
- Assisting the fundraising team and liaise with a particular group of volunteers to enhance communication and support for fundraising volunteers. The groups are:
- Speakers
- Fundraising Groups and Individual Fundraisers
- Corporate and Community Fundraisers
- Conducting interviews with new volunteer applicants within your area
- Facilitating training for new volunteers in specific fundraising roles to ensure role specific training has been completed
- Acting as a mentor to other fundraising volunteers
- Carrying out support & supervision of volunteers
- Arranging networking meetings as an opportunity for volunteers to meet other volunteers
- Communicating regularly with fundraising volunteers specific to their role
- Assisting with necessary admin relating to this role e.g. email communications, newsletters
Location: Primarily home based with monthly meetings either face to face or over the phone.
What skills or experience are required?
- This is a lead volunteer role and will require good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be friendly and approachable
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience or knowledge of fundraising in the community
- Experience of working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Experience of coaching and/or mentoring is desirable but not essential
- IT skills are desirable but not essential
