Devizes Opendoors aim to promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people in the Devizes Community Area from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.
We provide four cooked meals per week for homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless; signposting to various agencies that can help with issues such as drug dependence, mental illness and rent arrears; and deliver a Befriending service to support Guests one-to-one.
Devizes Opendoors is a charity that has been set up to help people in the Devizes Community Area to find solutions to homelessness; to offer support to local people when they are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and to benefit local individuals in need, including the marginalised and vulnerable.
We provide four cooked meals a week at Southbroom Centre, Victoria Road. There are approximately 15 to 30 Guests at most of our drop-in sessions. Along with good food and company, there is the chance of a shower, hot drinks and support from staff and volunteers.
