Alzheimer's Support is looking for friendly and empathetic people to join the volunteer team at Mill Street day club in Trowbridge on Wednesdays or Thursdays each week.
The club is a vibrant and jolly place where volunteers enjoy themselves as much as the people they support.
A typical day includes chatting with members, serving refreshments and leading or joining in with activities. You could be helping with a jigsaw, putting the world to rights over a cuppa, or having a boogie under the famous club glitter ball all in the space of a few hours!
Volunteers are valued as an integral and indispensable part of the team and any special enthusiasms or skills you can share will be encouraged! We'll looking for someone who can come in on the same day each week if possible. Full training will be given and the role will require a DBS check.
