Alzheimer's Support's Muddy Boots group offers a chance to get outdoors and enjoy nature, gardening and wildlife-related craft.
Whether it is landscape gardening, working with plants or observing wildlife, everyone takes part at their own pace, and some will prefer to just enjoy being out of doors in the company of others.
The group gives people living with dementia and a family carer the opportunity to interact with the natural environment, gain a sense of achievement and make new friends. No experience is needed to take part, although it will be particularly beneficial to people who have enjoyed outdoor work and gardening in the past.
