Read Easy North & West Wiltshire (helping adults learn to read in Bradford on Avon, Calne, Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Melksham, Trowbridge)
We are looking for a new Coordinator Supporter to join our team!
Our Coordinators assess, enrol & liaise with adults who need help with reading, match them with volunteer reading coaches and support them both through their 1-2-1 reading journey.
In this role you’ll:
- Ensure Coordinators are well supported in their role to liaise with, assess & enrol new readers and offer consistent support to reading pairs
- Understand our reading assessment tool
- Curate Reader enrolment, progress and graduation data
- Convene Coordinators and report to the Management Team
- Collaborate, use initiative and work as part of a team
- Volunteer as a Trustee, abiding by Read Easy policies & procedures, with a non-judgemental attitude & respect for others, with a commitment to equality and diversity, so that we can make everyone feel valued & included
- Bring energy and enthusiasm (for an average 2-5 hours per week)
