A Musical Community Without Barriers
The Wiltshire Soundabout Choir welcomes people of all ages with complex needs, and their families/carers. It is run by Soundabout and Wiltshire Music Connect. Find out more on our website.
- Singing or vocalisations
- Making sounds with an instrument or sound maker
- Using technology e.g. an iPad or EyeGaze
- Movement and dance
- Signing; We use a mix of movement, BSL, Signalong and Makaton to interpret lyrics*
By welcoming all voices we aim to be as inclusive as possible, and actively try to remove barriers to participation for Learning Disabled people with complex support needs.
The choir sings songs chosen by members and occasionally writes their own songs. Every piece of music is designed so that members can be involved in their own way.
The choir is free to join, there are no auditions, and you do not need to be able to read music notation. Please fill in our sign up form below.

When & Where?
We are offering a mixture of face-to-face and virtual rehearsals so that you can join in however is best for you!
Face-to-Face Rehearsals
- The choir meets in-person once a half term from 2-3.30pm
- These are ran in a hybrid way so if you can’t join us in-person you can still join via zoom
Virtual Rehearsals
- The choir meets on alternate Sundays from 2pm-3pm
