We support local vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals and families
HEALS of Malmesbury is a small charity based in the Old School Room in Malmesbury Town Hall.
We support individuals and families in Malmesbury and surrounding villages who may be in poverty, vulnerable or disadvantaged.
We help people make positive change by accessing local services and hardship support and work in partnership with a number of local organisations including the Coop, Aldi and the Malmesbury & District Foodbank, Malmesbury Area Community Trust and Wiltshire Council.
Referrals to access our services and support are made via other organisations and agencies, the Primary Care Centre, Malmesbury & District Foodbank, schools, word of mouth or people can self refer.
Our work covers a range of areas which include:
- Housing and homelessness
- Disability
- Benefits
- Services for the unemployed
- Financial inclusion
- Health
- and much more.
We also have a summer programme of activities for young people including residential holiday and things to do during the summer holidays and a winter programme.
We can help with:
- Debt problems
- Rent or Council Tax arrears
- Housing difficulties
- Foodbank vouchers
- Emergency Hardship Fund support
- Emergency Food
If you are not an existing Service User, other than for issuing Foodbank vouchers, for legal reasons, we will need you to complete a simple HEALS user registration form by phone or email.
