We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the Wessex Water Foundation Environment Fund. This grant will support our work to improve the diversity of the lower meadow at Quakers Walk.
The Environment Fund supports charitable and community activities across the region that have a positive impact on the local environment. The fund is part of the Wessex Water Foundation which provides dedicated funding for projects across the Wessex Water region every year.
We’ll be doing a big scarify and sow on the 12th of October 2024. It will be all hands on deck so please share this post and event to anyone that you think would be interested. There’ll be bigger manual jobs and much smaller easier tasks on the day, so there really will be opportunities for everyone and anyone to be involved.
Once again, a big thank you to @wessex Water for this brilliant opportunity to enhance our community space and to support nature at the same time.
