Peer Support Groups provide a friendly space for anyone experiencing problems with their wellbeing. They bring together people with shared experiences to support each other, and provide a place where you can feel accepted and understood.
Facilitated by skilled members of the Wiltshire MIND team, everyone’s experiences are treated as equally important. The groups can enable people to develop coping skills and feel accepted and understood, improving self-esteem. Supporting others can also improve self-confidence.
All group members are asked to agree to a confidentiality code to ensure that anything shared in the sessions remain within the group. Group members are invited to take a shared responsibility for how the space is used.
