Blue Apple Theatre presents Treasure Island at Theatre Royal Winchester in three stage performances and via livestream.
Blue Apple’s Treasure Island is a fresh take on the classic tale. Old Jim Hawkins still visits The Admiral, the inn he used to run with his parents as a boy. And once a year, on the anniversary of those original events, he retells his dramatic story with the drinkers in the pub helping the action along by each taking a part in the story. An exercise in raw storytelling, the audience will be whisked from Bristol to that faraway island with treasure buried somewhere on it, and home again, all in time for last orders.
