The Wiltshire Branch committee is looking for a replacement for our longstanding treasurer who will shortly be standing down. The job is not a big one but will involve preparing a budget for Head Office, keeping track of expenses and receipts and presenting a report at our AGM in October.
The work will need to be done at home and the applicant will need a basic understanding of accounting and the use of spreadsheets. We have a committee meeting every quarter to which we would like you to attend but this is not compulsory. An interest in butterflies would be preferable but again, not essential.
In case you are unaware, Butterfly Conservation is a national charity. We aim to increase the numbers of butterflies and moths through habitat enhancement and the education and the provision of expert advice to stakeholders and the general public.
