Beyond Dementia’s team of Champions will be delivering our 'Understanding Dementia & how you can help' sessions at a number of libraries during September and October
September is World Alzheimer’s Month, an international campaign to raise dementia awareness and challenge stigma. Each year Alzheimer and dementia charities/groups, alongside those involved in the treatment, care and support of people living with dementia, from around the world unite to organise advocacy and information sessions, as well as Memory walks and fundraising days.
Monday, 21st September is World Alzheimer’s Day. For 2026 the campaign theme is ‘The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do. A Diagnosis Matters’
