I am the Secretary of the Salisbury Fundraising Committee for Cancer Research UK. We annually raise around £40,000 a year and since we started 75 years ago have raised an amazing £2,000,000. If you are a cancer survivor, or have a friend or family member who has been affected by cancer then this could be your opportunity to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
We are looking for volunteers who have the time and are willing to come along to our fundraising events to help out. We won't necessarily need help at all our events but we have one or two annual events where it would be great to have extra helping hands.
