I am Secretary to the local Fundaising Committee for Cancer Research UK.
Although we have a great working committee, we are always in need of volunteers to come along to our events to lend a 'helping hand'. This could involve anything from serving teas, waiting on tables, welcoming guests, helping in the kitchen or helping with setting up an event on the day.
