Waste Not Want Not is a registered charity in Chippenham; our small staff team and brilliant volunteers support people who need affordable household goods, individuals rebuilding their lives after crisis, and local residents seeking work experience or a way to reduce isolation. We also help the environment by keeping usable items out of the waste stream.
We are now looking to expand our Board of Trustees. We are interested in people who are:
- · Strategic thinkers with a fresh perspective
- · Strong communicators with excellent people skills
- · Team players who can support each other and act as a constructive, critical friend to our Charity Manager
- · Willing to learn (previous Trustee experience is helpful but not essential)
What the role involves:
- · Evening Board meetings every two months at our Chippenham showroom (6.30pm to around 8.00pm)
- · Helping shape the direction, governance, and impact of the charity
- · Bringing your insight, challenge, and support to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our clients and community
