Online webinar on family hubs

April 2024

We held our family hubs in Wiltshire online chat recently sharing information and answering questions on how these new hubs work for families, children and young people.

If you couldn’t join us, please watch to find out more!

We all need help sometimes.

Family hubs are here to give support and guidance to all Wiltshire families and young people aged from 0 to 19, as well as up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Funded by Wiltshire Council, Spurgeons provide family hubs across Wiltshire.

Spurgeons is a national children's charity with a long-standing history in Wiltshire, working with vulnerable families, children and young people. Their family services provide interventions that help in all aspects of family life and parenting support.

What do family hubs offer?

  • One to one support in the home.
  • Parenting advice and groups led by staff and volunteer parents/carers.
  • Advice around early learning and help to access services.
  • Support from community based ‘navigators’ who can help with everything from finding sources of support, through to accessing education and returning to work.
  • Our digital family hub also offers support to families 24 hours a day.

Our main family hubs

Each hub has its own team of navigators. They are there to offer help to families by signposting to useful connections such as local schools and early years providers.

Our additional locations

You can also find us across the county in a host of community venues including libraries and leisure centres.

We will be publishing times and dates shortly, but in the meantime please contact us on 0800 970 4669.

Keep checking back for more information over the coming weeks.

What will we reject?

Wiltshire Together is not a business directory for commercial organisations, as we would then need to charge advertising rates (which we don’t). We will approve relevant activities added by non-profits.

How quickly will we approve activities?

We aim to approve activities within 2 working days. Our admins do not work Fridays, so activities posted on a Thursday may not be reviewed until Monday.

Would you like to save your progress?

Note: Saving as a draft means your activity will be available for you to edit in your dashboard.

Selecting delete marks your activity as deleted in your dashboard.
