Cost of living help
The rising cost of living is affecting people living throughout Wiltshire. Many residents and communities, including those who have not faced financial challenge before, are impacted by rising food, heating, housing, and transport costs.
In response, Wessex Community Action have launched a Cost of Living Help campaign, where voluntary and community groups and community focussed organisations can share the support, advice and information available.
Our aim is for people to quickly and easily find relevant and local, information and support by including what is available via Wiltshire Together, the single online space for the public, social prescribers, volunteers, voluntary and community groups and health and social care professional to use.
Find available food banks, community fridges, warmth spaces, advice and locations for safety, energy and money advice, support for mental wellbeing, grant information and more.

Anything which can directly or indirectly support people, is welcomed. For example:
- You could be an advice service helping people claim benefits they weren’t aware they were entitled to
- You could be a community group which offers online movement classes that encourages us to be a little more active and improve our circulation
- You could be an individual who wants to volunteer who, for example, delivers food and is active in their local community
- You could be a national organisation offering an online toolkit outlining how to make your home warmer and less draughty
- You can signpost to hints, tips and discounts
- You can give advice on making your money and food go further, including budgeting skills.
