How Warm & Safe Wiltshire can help you

Our free advice service is open 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. You can contact us in a way that suits you, all for free. You can call us on 0800 038 5722, send a WhatsApp message or fill in an online form for yourself or someone else. Our friendly and experienced energy advisors will discuss with you what you need and explain what you should do next, supporting you every step of the way.

Our advisors offer free and impartial advice on:

• Understanding your fuel bills.
• Top tips on the simple ways to save energy and lower your bills.
• Guidance on heating systems and controls.
• Eligibility checks and referrals to  heating and insulation grants and fuel vouchers.
• Issues with damp and condensation.
• Fuel debt advice, including securing a manageable repayment plan or debt write-off in some cases
• Switching energy suppliers and fuel tariffs.
• Signing up to the Priority Services Register.
• Discounts and support with your water bills.
• Referrals for a free fire safety visit.
• Free benefits check to ensure your income is maximised.

Support for frontline workers

Warm & Safe Wiltshire provides training to frontline workers and support organisations to improve energy advice provision.

Our experienced and qualified advisors deliver training on the signs of fuel poverty and how to signpost people for support. This means that clients and patients in or at risk of falling into fuel poverty can be quickly identified and referred to Warm & Safe Wiltshire for in-depth support.
