After an absence of five years, the Health and Wellbeing Fair came back to the Civic Centre bigger and better than ever.
Over forty exhibitors ranging from sports and health bodies, to hobbies and support groups met the public to explain how they can help to find their way to better health and wellbeing.
A valuable event welcomed by attendees and exhibitors alike with relatively high reach and impact at a reasonable cost per beneficiary.
Whether we like it or not, it is becoming more important to embrace the digital age. Access to information and services is increasingly moving online which is fine for many people. But others feel left behind, are dependent on others or feel simply isolated from opportunities.
While it may not be possible to remedy national or regional issues like signal strength, there are many out there with a smartphone, i pad or computer who decide not to use it through cost, skills or confidence. However, there are local and county organisations that may help part of that need who are meeting on Tuesday 27 June at 1000 hours at Warminster School to discuss how best to inform and support those feeling excluded from access to digital information.
