Chippenham Link Transport is a volunteer transport service that offers door to door transport for local people who are unable to access public or private transport. We ask for donations from clients towards the cost of operating our service.

We provide the service for people living in Chippenham, Chippenham Without, Langley Burrell, Sutton Benger and Tytherton. There are around 40 LINK Schemes across Wiltshire and Swindon: If you live outside the area covered by Chippenham LINK, please visit the Community First LINK Schemes and Community Transport Directory to find your local transport service.

Those without access to a private vehicle and who cannot get to their appointments by public transport

Cost

Whatever you can give! There is no set charge for our service, but we do invite clients to make a donation towards the cost of providing the Chippenham LINK Transport scheme. Cash or cheque donations can be placed in the envelope given to you by your driver. If you want to make your donation by bank transfer, ask our co-ordinator for details. A mileage allowance is paid to our volunteer drivers. We also have telephone and other administrative expenses. Chippenham LINK Transport could not continue to operate without the donations that we receive from LINK service users.
