Pull on your walking boots, tie your laces and join in A Walk to Remember!

Last year's memory walk raised an incredible £10,000 for people living with dementia in Wiltshire. This year we've made it even more special - adding a beautiful new route around the Bowood Estate at the kind invitation of our patron Lady Lansdowne.

All ages are welcome! Why not get friends, family and colleagues to sign up as a team? The more walkers who take part, the more essential support we can provide to the families that need us.

From Warminster Park there are two lovely walks - a challenging 8.5 miles up Battlebury Hill and the gentler Meadow Mile through the nature reserve. You will be asked to choose your walk during the sign up process below.

Battlesbury Hill, Warminster. A beautiful 8.5 miles up and around Battlesbury Camp hill fort. We start in Warminster Park and carry on through the nature reserve before climbing gently on well-marked paths through wildflower meadows to the wide top of the hill. It's a wonderful place to catch your breath while taking in 360-degree views across the surrounding downland.

The Meadow Mile Walk is a gentler one mile walk for children, families and anyone who prefers a shorter challenge.  It also starts in Warminster Park (with its own warm-up!) and takes in the lake and picturesque nature reserve, giving you the opportunity to spot wildlife as you go. This walk is suitable for pushchairs and is wheelchair-friendly - so perfect for all the family.

On the day, you’ll receive a Walk to Remember T-shirt and a well-deserved Finisher's Medal, as well as lots of support and encouragement. Nothing beats the feeling of coming together to do something good for a common purpose! Our friendly team is here to back you up at every stage of your fundraising from the moment you register - just ask if you don't know where to start.

As well as being a great day out, the walk is a major fundraiser for our charity. There is no minimum sponsorship amount but as places are limited we ask that walkers try to raise at least £50 in sponsorship. That would pay for a session at one of our Music for the Mind dementia choirs here in Wiltshire - so you'll be part of something amazing and every penny you raise will make a difference.
