Our meet the funder webinars are open to voluntary and community groups and organisations in Wiltshire and Swindon. This free event is a great opportunity for charities and community groups to informally come together to share knowledge and ideas, build new connections and discuss topics that are relevant to you. The 90 minute session will include two short presentations, themed discussions and time to ask questions about funding applications and grants.
At this event we will be joined by Marie Hale, South Central Manager for The Lloyds Foundation. The Lloyds Foundation supports charities with an annual income of £25,000 to £1 million with a proven track record of helping people on a journey of positive change through in-depth, holistic and person-centred support with unrestricted funding and tailored support to develop. The Lloyds Foundation has 11 key priorities which they focus their grants on:
- Domestic and sexual abuse
- Sexual exploitation
- Mental health
- Homelessness and vulnerably housed
- Offending, prison or community service
- Care leavers
- Learning disabilities
- Addiction or dependency on alcohol, drugs, substances and/or gambling
- Trafficking and modern slavery
- Young parents
- Asylum seekers and refugees
Wiltshire Community Foundation Grants Team will present on our currently grant programmes, priorities and application process. Previously, we hosted our Funder+ sessions in our Devizes office, this session will be held online via Zoom.
