Lyneham Muddy Boots group meets on the first and third Monday afternoon of each month throughout the year (excluding bank holidays and the month of December) in the REME Museum in Lyneham (old RAF Lyneham Base).
The group gives people living with dementia and family carers the chance to enjoy the sights, textures, colours and smells of nature. Our group is a mixed outdoor and indoor group run by Alzheimers Support where people are supported to spend time together and take part in practical projects and crafts as well as occasional museum activities. There will also be social time with refreshments at each session.
No experience is necessary. Everyone gets involved at their own pace, with trained volunteers on hand to offer support as needed.
Family members, friends and carers are welcomed as are full membes of the group. Each session also includes social time where members can chat over tea, coffee and biscuits.
We make a small charge on the door for costs and materials of £4.50 per person (or you can use our flexible Pay what you Can scheme).
See contact details below on how to book and we look forward to hearing from you
