We are looking for a volunteer to support individuals attending hydrotherapy sessions and/or swimming. This may include some manual handling and aspects of personal care, always carried out with the support of a staff member from the service.
This opportunity can take place fortnightly or once a month, with flexibility around timings. We’re looking for a friendly and confident volunteer who is comfortable in a poolside environment. Staff will always be present to provide support. Full training and guidance will be provided by the service.
As with all our volunteer roles, a DBS check will be required, and we will request two references. Volunteers will also need to complete our online or in‑person training before starting their role. Ongoing support will be available from both the volunteer team and a designated member of staff within the service.
