A warm welcome awaits at the Memory Box Reading Group as we share memories and thoughts inspired by books about Wiltshire’s fascinating history.
The group comes together once a fortnight to listen to extracts of books from the Local Studies Library on a topic of their choosing, with popular topics such as iron works, fairs, cinema, the railway and more being featured…
We also take a look at original documents that complement our topic and find out more about them, then finish this enjoyable and friendly session with complimentary refreshments.
Sessions are free and start on Wednesday 4th October. They will continue to run on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, 2-3.30pm at the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre, Cocklebury Road, Chippenham SN15 3QN.
