What is All Together?
All Together is a directory of community organisations, statutory services and local events and activities for families and children. It is hosted on the free community platform, Wiltshire Together, where anyone can browse and find things to help or of interest to them.
Information, services and activities are added to the platform by organisations and services themselves, keeping the information accurate and up-to-date daily.
All Together promotes a wide of external websites, where people can go for help on a variety of topics, from bereavement, to learning, to sexual health.
Who is this event for?
This training session is for anyone working in the statutory, voluntary or community sector, serving local residents.
What is the aim of the training?
The training aims to empower professionals and volunteers who work in public-facing roles to know how to use All Together to signpost residents to local support and activities.
What will the training involve?
The training will involve:
- a short introduction of All Together and Wiltshire Together
- training on how to navigate and search the site to find content for residents/clients/patients
- training on how to feedback to All Together about what content is missing
- a short discussion about how best to promote the platform to residents and how to encourage community groups to register and share their services/events on the platform
