You can contact the following services for help at any time.
A service that supports families with children from pregnancy until they start school. The Health Visiting team provide advice and support on child health, development and parenting and can help with lots of things like feeding, toileting, speech and language, sleep and emotional well-being.
A service that gives support and guidance to all Wiltshire families and young people from pregnancy. Offering 1 to 1 support, parenting advice and groups, advice around early learning and help to access other services and support.
A service to support you and your child with a wide range of health problems. It identifies health problems, gives information and advice on things like smoking and diet to prevent your health getting worse, offers clinics, gives vaccinations, carries out simple surgical operations and directs you to specialist support if needed.

Maternity Services
Maternity services provide care and support during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.

Make your first booking appointment as soon as you find out you're pregnant - ideally this appointment should take place before you are 10 weeks pregnant and can be booked directly with your local maternity service Contact Us - Maternity (bswtogether.org.uk)

Health Visiting
This service is available to all families in Wiltshire who have children under the age of 5.
Health Visitor antenatal contact 28-32 weeks pregnancy. Find out more
Additional support
Entitles you to free NHS prescriptions and free NHS dental treatment during pregnancy and 12 months post birth. Apply here
Your midwife, GP, Practice Nurse or Health Visitor must apply for your Maternity Exemption Certificate for you. They may ask you to sign Form FW8 or they can apply for your Maternity Exemption Certificate online.

Health Visiting service contact before your baby turns 1 (usually between 9 and 11 months).
Family Hubs
Support and guidance to all Wiltshire families and young people aged from 0 to 19, and up to 25 with SEND.
Each hub has a team of navigators who help families by connecting them with local schools and early years providers.

Option for parents if extra support needed. Carried out by Health Visitor and early years provider together.
